Yariv Lotan brings 20 years of experience in technology and financial ventures, with a proven track record as an executive, an entrepreneur, and an investment professional. Before joining Start-Up Nation Central, Mr. Lotan led Value-Focused Investments, an investment banking boutique, dealing in cross-border mid-market mergers and acquisitions focused on Israel and China. Prior to that, Mr. Lotan has founded and headed the first Corporate Venture Capital arm of one of the largest insurance groups in Israel, investing and managing a portfolio of over $100 USD of VC, private-equity and real-estate investments. In addition to his active involvement on the boards of many public and private companies, Mr. Lotan voluntarily served as Executive Chairman of Shiluvim, the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Engineering at Tel-Aviv University (TAU). He also served on the Steering Committee of the Industry Affiliates Program of Faculty of Engineering at TAU.
