Raja Ramana Macha is Sr. Vice President & CTO of $ 7 bn lndustrial Automation business of Schneider Electric, with responsibility of setting and executing the technology vision & strategy for the growth of the business. He is part of various industry standards groups to help influence the direction of the effectiveness models for the industry. An avid technologist, his interests vary across miniaturization of hardware, to use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence; from driving innovation to solve business problems, to managing cultural transformations. He also coaches young talent to achieve their potential.
Raja was brought into lnvensys as the Sr. Vice President of R&D for lnvensys Operations Management where he started the transformation of R&D for lnvensys Operations Management. He transformed the operations with a focus חסcreating high productivity technology teams and execution of the overall technology and products roadmap with unprecedented improvements in quality, time to market and cost management.
Before joining lnvensys Raja worked in Automotive, זוand Software technology companies leading several functions and businesses.
Over a career of 32 years, Raja has pioneered product development of software and hardware products in the engineering space working for global leaders. As a practicing consultant to several global manufacturing and technology companies Raja has helped them improve operational excellence. He has successfully led information technology and computing technology businesses and is an expert in applying LEAN techniques for driving transformation.
He is widely credited with the creation of the Foxboro Evo Distributed Control System and the Tricon CX triple modular redundant Safety system.
Raja holds an Electronics and Communication engineering degree and a Masters Diploma in Business Administration.
