Anton Papp joined Rockwell in August of 2017 as a senior member of the Corporate Development team supporting the software business and leading the company’s efforts in forming a Corporate Venture Fund based in San Jose, California.

Prior to joining Rockwell Automation, Anton was the Vice President of Corporate Development at Teradata, a market leader in data warehousing, big data analytics and marketingapplications where he was responsible for investments, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and strategic partnerships.  While at Teradata, Anton led, managed and acted as a board observer for Teradata’s investments numerous companies including Revolution Analytics (acquired by Microsoft) and Hortonworks (IPO’d 12/14).

Prior to that, Mr. Papp was the Vice President of Corporate Development and Global Alliances at Aprimo, a leader in on-demand integrated marketing software solutions, which he sold to Teradata for $525 million.  Before Aprimo, Anton spent over a decade in investment banking advising technology companies at several investment banks in the San Francisco Bay Area including Robertson Stephens and Banc of America Securities Merrill Lynch. 

Mr. Papp earned his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Finance from Columbia Business School and his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Boston University, where he is also a member of the Board of Directors. Anton began his career as a Naval Aviator flying the F-14 Tomcat and is a graduate of the United States Navy Fighter Weapons School (Top Gun).
